Day 1

Marrakech

After a short rest, we will enjoy Marrakech; in the afternoon, you will have a guided tour of the city, entering the Medina through its maze of alleys that make up the famous Marrakech souk. After the tour, you will have more free time to experience local life. Overnight in a Riad in the Medina.

Day 2

Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Skoura - Valley of Roses - Dades Valley

Halfway, we will reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a set for films like Gladiator or Kingdom of Heaven. Free time to eat and explore this fortified city.

We will continue to Ouarzazate and stop briefly to photograph the Kasbah of Taourirt. Then we resume the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs towards Skoura, crossing the Valley of Roses to the impressive Dades Gorges, where we will stay.

Day 3

Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Erg Chebbi Desert

After breakfast, we will head towards the Dades Valley and cross the incredible Todra Gorges for a walk.

We continue towards Merzouga, crossing the Jorf Palm Grove (cradle of excellent dates) and will have lunch before reaching Erfoud, known for its fossils.

In Merzouga, we will stay in a Berber Riad or Kasbah facing the Erg Chebbi dunes. Free afternoon to climb the dunes and enjoy the sunset. After dinner, Berber drum show.

Day 4

Breakfast and visit to Khamlia to enjoy a Gnawa music concert.

By 4x4 we will enter the dunes along former Paris-Dakar tracks, visiting Khol mines and remains of settlements. Panoramic stop over the Erg Chebbi.

We will visit desert nomads in the process of settling down, have tea and learn about their lifestyle. Then, in Rissani, we will explore its market. In the afternoon, we will prepare to enter the desert: camel ride at sunset (jeep option). Night in a tented camp, dinner and starry sky.

Day 5

Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez

Sunrise in Erg Chebbi and breakfast at the camp. Departure to Erfoud and then to the Ziz Valley, with its great serpent-shaped palm grove. We will cross the Tizi-n-Talghomt pass to Midelt, where we will have lunch.
