Conditions for payment refunds in author trips

CANCELLATION / CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT OF GROUP OR PRIVATE DESIGNED ROUTES

The traveler may at any time waive the services requested or contracted, having the right to a refund of the amounts paid, except for the reservation guarantee. Whether it is the total price or deposit for registration on any trip, but the agency must be compensated (according to the law) in the amounts indicated below:

  • 15% of the total trip amount, if cancellation occurs between 15 and 8 days before the trip start date.*
  • 20% of the total trip amount, if cancellation occurs between 7 and 48 hours before the trip start date.*
  • 30% of the total trip amount, if cancellation occurs within 48 hours before the start of the trip, or in case of no-show at the scheduled time and place for departure.*

*The reservation guarantee is the amount of 99 euros made at the beginning to reserve the trip. This amount is not refundable and is not included in the percentages of amounts to be compensated to the agency.

The traveler has the right to a refund of the amounts paid except for the cancellation expenses specified in the previous section. These expenses include management costs (work-related) and the compensation marked by Royal Decree 1/2007 that must be paid to the agency.

Any cancellation and/or modification of the contracted services by the client must be notified expressly and with the greatest anticipation possible (preferably in writing) by WhatsApp at (+34) 643 95 00 52.

Date modification

In case of modification of the trip date, it will not be necessary to pay any compensation as long as the modification occurs up to 14 days before the start of the trip.

Loss of refund right

The right to any refund or reimbursement will also be lost in the following cases:

  • Not showing up at the meeting point and at the indicated time on the departure date.
  • Voluntary abandonment of the itinerary once started.
  • Uncomfortable and inappropriate behaviors towards the rest of the group that force those responsible to respond with the authority that corresponds to them.
  • Other situations that are caused by the client and beyond the agency's control

Transfer of place

The user may transfer their place to a third party, in case they cannot attend, as long as the client communicates it in writing to the agency and the assignee meets the same requirements, as long as no nominative reservation has been issued: such as travel insurance... This transfer is not applicable to trips that require transportation with a nominative ticket, for example flights.
